LA ZOOMING

LA Together has received funding from Long Ashton Parish Council to purchase a Zoom licence to enable groups and organisations in the community to stay in touch during lockdowns and while people can’t meet in person due to Covid-19 restrictions.

If you would like to book a Zoom session on behalf of your group, please email us to let us know the date and time slot that you would like to book.  If it’s available we’ll come back to you and confirm the booking and we’ll provide details of the scheduled meeting for you to share with the participants in your group.   If it’s not available we’ll suggest some alternative time slots.

Our email address for Zoom bookings is info@la-together.org

On the day of the meeting, we’ll email you a temporary password that will enable you to sign in as host.  If you are already a Zoom user please remember to sign in using the LA Together Zoom password so that you can start the meeting and so that you have the ability to do all of the things that the host can do.  The temporary password will only be valid for the meeting that you’ve booked.

If you are new to Zoom we can help by providing a bit of training and support before your first meeting if that would help.  We’ll ask if you would like this support when we respond to your email and we’ll also send out some general information for you to send out to your group participants if you’d like to.  Please note that our Zoom licence does not allow meetings between unaccompanied minors so please ensure that adults are present during any meetings set up using this facility.

No payment is needed to use this community facility and it's available to all Long Ashton residents.  We only have one licence so bookings are on a first come first served basis and we can’t accept block bookings.
